Stranger Finds
In all the years I’ve spent professionally cleaning and valeting ovens across the Yorkshire area, I’ve encountered a fair share of strange finds. Some of these are just your typical oven leftovers, while others? Well, let’s just say they could give you a good laugh—or maybe even send a shiver down your spine. Oh, and don’t get me started on the hilarious pranks that you lovely customers have left behind.
So, what exactly have I found in these ovens? Take a look at the list at the bottom of this article—it’s quite a laugh, really.
The Finds
As you can imagine, I’ve stumbled upon all kinds of oddities hiding inside your ovens—some random, some downright puzzling, and some, well, just the remains of sausages or Yorkshire puddings that got lost in the “upside down” of your oven. It’s always a mystery.
But here’s the thing: When I post about these strange finds, I’m always discreet. I never reveal whose oven I’ve found them in, nor do I give away any details about where they were discovered. Your secrets are safe with me! In fact, I don’t even post these findings the same day I discover them, so rest assured, if something curious pops up during your oven clean, no one will ever know it came from you.
Your little oven mysteries will remain locked away in Hawkins Lab, while you’ll be left with a pristine, sparkling oven ready for its next culinary adventure.
I’ m not quite sure what this is, maybe a pasta twirl or curly fry? and the larger strange object…..well who-knows?
I think the owner of this one must be stuck in the Upside down and totally forgotten they had a garlic baguette missing for tea.
This kebab looks like it’s past it’s best and maybe Eleven has used her powers to cook it.
A very well done Hawkins Pudding, well it’s a Yorkshire pudding really but keeping with the theme 😉
I have literally no idea what this strange mess is! Could it be the remains of a Demogorgan?
Here we have a small screw! I am not quite sure what it was doing in the oven, but it was there!
An old nail, this is a very odd thing to find in an oven….maybe it was lost from Steve Harringtons baseball bat?
Well, this goes without saying, its a prank from a lovely client but it is Pooh Bear in the oven none the less. I did find it quite funny.
Hmmm this is up there with one of the weirdest and strangest oven finds….A Knitting Needle? maybe it was used in an attack from the Mind Flayer

Although this is quite evidently a prank! it is the one that made me laugh the most. It was an hilarious scenario to find myself in. Before anyone asks, I didnt try it on, it looked way too big for me!
